In today's blog we are looking at Huawei's new device, the MediaPad M2 10.0; which has four speakers, making this tablet special. With ultra-powerful surround sound and advanced harman/kardon audio technology, the MediaPad M2 10.0 provides a richer, clearer and more immersive acoustic experience.

This week we have been looking at the browser detection for the Sony PS Vita. We've found that on occasion two different browsers can use the same user agent, ultimately proving that you need the advanced user agent parsing that 51Degrees provides in order to correctly identify all device ID combinations.

This week introduces Apple 's two new devices: a brand new iPhone SE and 9.7 inch iPad Pro. Both devices were announced at Apple's press release on the 21^st of March 2016.

51Degrees, a device detection, web and mobile app optimisation and analytics specialist, today announces it has been granted an EU patent for its device detection technology.

Over the last few week's we've been covering the major bases from this years Mobile World Congress (MWC). We started with the latest Samsung Galaxy S7 series and now we're going full circle back to Samsung, this time to look at a few devices announced late last year.

On the 24th February Google launched AMP. Announced last October, AMP is an open source platform that aims to improve user experience of the mobile Web by reducing the possible complexity of Web pages.

As per usual for this time of year, there is a lot of new mobile hardware. We have just seen the tail end of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 and in less than two weeks time, CeBIT in Hannover, Germany is also on the horizon. Before we get there, we have got a few more interesting handsets from MWC to take a look at.

Friday 4th March 2016 saw 180 web professionals all with an interest in progressive enhancement assemble in London for a one day conference organised by Simon McManus.

I continue to be amazed at how the humble User-Agent is misunderstood. My purpose in writing this blog post is to reset some myths passed down from web professional to web professional over the years concerning User-Agents. This was typified in the debate and conversation I witnessed at Enhance Conference.

Now that the dust of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 has settled we'd like to thank the GSMA for a great event as well as everyone who managed to meet us in person, it was a pleasure to put names to faces. In this weeks blog, we're going to continue where we left off last week.
