On the 24th February Google launched AMP. Announced last October, AMP is an open source platform that aims to improve user experience of the mobile Web by reducing the possible complexity of Web pages.

Device Update With LG G5
As per usual for this time of year, there is a lot of new mobile hardware. We have just seen the tail end of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 and in less than two weeks time, CeBIT in Hannover, Germany is also on the horizon. Enhance Conference and the User-Agent

Friday 4th March 2016 saw 180 web professionals all with an interest in progressive enhancement assemble in London for a one day conference organised by Simon McManus.

I continue to be amazed at how the humble User-Agent is misunderstood. My purpose in writing this blog post is to reset some myths passed down from web professional to web professional over the years concerning User-Agents. This was typified in the debate and conversation I witnessed at Enhance Conference.

The Power of Light: Li-Fi Explained
Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) is the new wireless communication technology which uses visible spectrum to transfer data.
Li-Fi is a Visible Light Communication (VCL) system. It uses Light Emitting Diodes (LED) to transfer data with speeds of up to 224 Gbps (Gigabits per second) making it a hundred times faster than current Wi-Fi technology.
