Why pretend to be a mobile phone?

The number of vendors large and small promoting web enabled set top boxes will not escape the attention of those attending the IBC show in Amsterdam 2013. Manufacturers are all showing web browser enabled devices. Most of the operating systems and related browser software comes from the mobile world with Android by far and away the most popular operating system coupled with the Chrome Mobile browser.

A Poor Mobile Web Experience

Today's the first day of Ad:Tech London 2013, “The Event for Digital Marketing”. With 7.6% of web traffic coming from Tablets, and 23% from mobile devices globally in August 2013, the organisers dmgevents should know that mobile is important to web marketing. I was therefore more than a little surprised to receive the following home page, and floor plan when I accessed the events web site on a mobile phone.
