Why is location confidence important?

So this is something that we're really majoring on because the reality is IP addresses are not always accurate and it's not always possible to say with a high degree of confidence exactly where an IP address is. So for example, a VPN, you could have an IP that's appearing to come from one country but could actually be being used in 50 different countries. So confidence is extremely important to say when you should not use the results. Of the IP intelligence lookup. And then you've got high confidence, where we would recommend that you can make business decisions on the back of the data that we return, and then medium confidence, where we would suggest that you make low consequence business decisions on back of data. But importantly, for low confidence, there's a whole group of IP addresses where you just want to say, all bets are off. Pretend that we don't know anything. You know, let's work as if we don't know anything because we don't want to be making business decisions on the back of this data.
