Weighted Location Data

The geographic area returned from 51Degrees IP intelligence can often encompass a number of towns, sometimes even countries, and certainly is unlikely to result in a single postal code. In order to deal with this, we have weighted properties, towns, countries and partial postal codes. These can be used to return a list rather than a single item. So if you're running a campaign where you're interested in a particular set of towns you might find that the primary town that's returned isn't on that list. But the other items, when you consider the weighting, are good enough for your campaign. Armed with this information, you can actually use the IP address for your intended purposes.
