51Degrees.mobi offers two robust and reliable solutions. The first, Lite Data, is a free, entry-level device file to meet basic mobile detection requirements and is licensed under the Mozilla Public Licence. The second, Premium Data, is updated weekly and provides a richer set of parameters including physical screen size, input type and recommended button sizes.
The Lite and Premium Data files contain the latest mobile phone types, operating systems and browser configurations, including the newest devices and OS enhancements from Apple, Nokia and Samsung. They're built using data from a number of sources and are verified with 51Degrees.mobi's own manual certification process for accuracy and consistency. Each file ensures maximum performance and control for the developer, whilst being simple to implement and manage.
