Updates

This week a combination of 288 new hardware devices, browsers and operating systems have been added to 51Degrees.

Huawei's latest flagship, the Ascend P7 was recently unveiled last week. Alongside this Huawei also has a smaller variant in the works named the Ascend P7 mini, the mini version is due to be commercially released at the same time as its bigger brother in June.

The Ascend P7 utilises a 5.0" display while the mini version will come in a little smaller at 4.5". The P7 has a full 1080p resolution and the mini weighs in at a healthy 960x540. The P7 mini does not quite have flagship specifications as we saw with Sony's Z1 Compact earlier this year but it will give the other smaller form factor competitors a good fight.

The P7 mini runs on Qualcomm's quad core Snapdragon 400 SoC with 1.2GHz CPU and an Adreno 305 GPU. You also get 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card. For the budding photographers out there you get an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera and all this will be powered by a 2000mAh battery.

The Ascend P7 mini will not ship with Androids latest version Kitkat and will instead come with the previous version Android 4.3 Jellybean, although we expect Kitkat support to come in the near future. The P7 mini is expected to cost between 250-300 euros and is shaping up to be a great mid range device.

Others added this week include HTC's Windows Phone X offerings the c625a and c625b, Samsung's Galaxy Fame and the K-Ninja Samurai browser courtesy of Headbanging Sasquatches, among many more.
