We've enjoyed a busy start to 2012 with over 1/2 billion known devices processed by our platforms. Our PHP solution has arrived, and we've announced more partnerships. Plus we're sponsoring the most fun mobile event of the year, Over the Air 2012.
We are pleased to announce we are sponsoring this unique event. It's billed as a festival of creativity and all things mobile - and a 2 day party. We excel at both. Come and join us for afternoon tea on Friday 1st June and see our new PHP solution in action, plus get free complementary 51Degrees.mobi licences in your goody bag.
Get 51Degrees.mobi for PHP in 3 minutes
We have released our PHP solution as an open beta. It provides the same device detection functionality as the ASP.NET service and will contain packages for leading Content Management platforms including WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and CodeIgniter. It can be installed in 4 easy steps. There is no need to link to a cloud service, no external plug-ins are required and the Lite version is free for commercial use. We invite all you developers to download the file and give us your feedback.
Leading Content Management Platforms choose 51Degrees.mobi
We are very proud to have been chosen by both DotNetNuke and Ingeniux as they enhance their mobile web functionality. Both organisations, leading global players in CMS, have licensed our Device Data for distribution with their platforms. Their customers now benefit from a complete mobile web platform for creating, managing and delivering content. More partners to be announced soon.
51Degrees.mobi first to implement Facebook Ringmark in browser tests
Ringmark is the mobile browser test process introduced by Facebook earlier this year. It's designed to help developers learn more about each mobile browser. We think it is important that we integrate Ringmark in our service as it can be used by developers to build targeted mobile sites. Web site visitors can receive a custom experience dependent on their mobile devices capabilities. We are including over 40 new browser properties identified by the Ringmark tests into our Premium and Lite services showing our continued commitment to the development of our device database and integration with other open source projects.
If we don't meet at Over the Air, have a fun Spring, try our PHP beta (or at least forward it to a friend who loves PHP) and let us know what we're doing well and where we can improve.
