2012 was a busy year for 51Degrees.mobi expanding our device detection and optimisation services. Here are some of the highlights, and some insight into 2013:
More Content Management Systems
Many businesses already use an established CMS to maintain their web site. That's why we're working with leading platform vendors to make our products as simple to deploy as possible. Vendors such as DotNetNuke Ingeniux and Kentico now come completely integrated with 51Degrees.mobi out of the box. Others such as Wordpress, Drupal and Joomla use easy to install plug-ins to provide mobile web support. We've added a new page on our web site with a full list of supported CMS.
If yours isn't listed let us and the CMS vendor know and we'll help them integrate.
More Performance, Accuracy, Device Combinations and Deployments
We've continued to improve the performance of our free products detecting more than 5,000,000 devices per second with an improved accuracy of 99.9%. There are over 11,700 device combinations including hardware, operating systems and browsers. We're used on more than 320,500 servers worldwide.

More APIs for All
We've added to .NET and PHP by including direct support for Java. Our new C solution not only provides a lot more performance, but also supports a diverse set of platforms.
All our APIs continue to be available under free open source licences, including our free lite device data which is updated monthly. Premium customers get automatic updates of device data weekly, loads of extra properties and all the latest devices.
More Properties for Premium Customers
Device categorisation has been improved with the addition of IsSmartphone and IsSmallScreen properties alongside the existing IsTablet, IsConsole and IsEReader.
User interfaces can be enhanced with the addition of hardware images and popularity properties.

Mobile World Congress 2013
We'll be exhibiting in 2013 with our first excursion to Mobile World Congress in Barcelona between the 25th and 28th of February 2013. We'll be demonstrating our products, running competitions, meeting developers and industry executives. Come and see us at stand 7E100.
That's not all! We're also planning to exhibit at conferences in North America and Europe later in the year.
