User Agents update

Autumn 'Spring cleaning'

This week we have intentionally removed some user agents from our database. The user agents that were removed have not been encountered at all over the past 12 months. If a user agent has not been encountered for this amount of time it indicates that certain device/software combinations are no longer in use. You should now find that your Premium or Enterprise data file has gotten a bit lighter.

This change should not affect the quality of device detection as the user agents removed have not been encountered for a significant amount of time. If you encounter problems with certain user agents please contact us. Additionally, if you have not already done so, please enable usage sharing.

Sharing usage information helps us maintain the most accurate database and supply the most relevant and up-to-date device information to you. This feature is safe and only shares non-private information about the requesting user agent. For more information please see Usage Data FAQs.
