User-agent is "Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 8_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/600.1.4 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/8.0 Mobile/12A402", but 51 Degrees detects that device is android, browser is not Safari and so on.

    Hi Dmitrii,

Thank you for contacting 51Degrees. We have now added the user-agent to our database, which will resolve the detection. This update will be available in our Enterprise data file today. Are you able to download and confirm correct detection?

If you have any further user-agents for consideration you can email datasupervisors@51degrees.com and we will be happy to investigate.

    Kind Regards,
    Amos Tamang

    Hi Dimitrii,

Apologies for the delay in responding - The reason for poor detection was that we'd not seen this particular User-Agent before. It has now been added to our database and if you download the latest Enterprise data file you should find it now detects correctly.

I don't know if you currently share usage data with us, enabling this option enables us to automatically add UAs such as this to our system and improve detection https://51degrees.com/support/faqs/usage-data

    Kind Regards,
    Liz.
