Understand Mobile Website Performance with 51Degrees.mobi and the GSMA

GSMA and 51Degrees.mobi Partner-up to help you create better mobile web experiences

Web performance is a vital component to creating a great web experience for your users. With this in mind, 51Degrees.mobi have partnered with the GSMA to create a mobile web performance section on the new GSMA smarter apps guidelines.

The smarter apps guidelines were created by the GSMA to help improve both web and native apps on mobile devices. Working with some of the world's largest mobile operators, the GSMA built the "Smarter Apps for Smarter Phones" guidelines in 2012. Developers can read these guidelines online and can register to edit the content if they find information has changed or have more tips to add. The guidelines cover principles for developing web applications ranging from the basic principles all the way to delving deep into the specifics for how to make a fantastic mobile web experience.
