StrikeAd by Sizmek chooses 51Degrees as Exclusive Device Detection Partner

51Degrees offers StrikeAd fast device detection combined with targeting of specific devices

Reading, 22nd June 2015:

51Degrees, a device detection and web optimisation specialist, announced today a three year deal with StrikeAd by Sizmek, a global leader in mobile advertising.  51Degrees will provide StrikeAd with its device detection tools to be integrated into StrikeAd’s media buying platform and reporting tools.  The deal signals 51Degrees’ position as one of the fastest and most accurate device detection solutions available globally.

The agreement follows an exhaustive market analysis and extensive evaluation period.  StrikeAd, recently acquired by Sizmek, has initially deployed 51Degrees’ device detection and device targeting solution.  Over time, new reporting and analytic capabilities will also be added, providing customers with more flexibility and market intelligence.

The addition of StrikeAd to 51Degrees’ portfolio of customers demonstrates the company’s continued progress with large media and advertising technology companies that recognise the need for a solution that is fast and accurate, supporting revenue optimised advertising.

Following a seamless integration of the 51Degrees solution, StrikeAd customers are already benefitting from live, up to date web traffic data, allowing them to tailor and build a user friendly interface dependent on customers’ preferred devices. With the help of 51Degrees, Strike Ad’s customers can implement effective and targeted mobile campaigns, ensuring that brand messaging and ROI is optimised for their customers’ screen size.

Alex Rahaman, VP Platform Solutions, StrikeAd said: “This agreement gives StrikeAd a competitive edge in the market.  Our customers can now confidently optimise campaigns for granular device characteristics such as physical screen size, hardware model and device type.”

David Brauninger, Supply Manager at StrikeAd continued: “We evaluated numerous device detection solutions and only 51Degrees met our requirements for performance and accuracy including the elimination of false positive responses plus integration into our Fusion user interface and customer reporting environment.”

James Rosewell, Founder & CEO of 51Degrees commented, “The partnership with StrikeAd demonstrates 51Degrees’ capability to deliver against the most exacting standards.  StrikeAd not only understands why fast and accurate device detection is important, it also sees the competitive advantages this offers their customers.”
