Leagoo Shark 1
The Chinese manufacturer Leagoo just introduced the new Shark 1 to the marketplace. Leagoo Shark 1 is a Smartphone with a 6” inch 2.5D FHD Corning 3rd Gorilla Glass Screen which is a smooth, scratch-resistant, extremely robust but very thin material. Shark 1 is made out of polycarbonate plastic and aluminium alloy on the side and back of the device.
Considering it has a 6-inch display and the dimensions of this phone are 158.6×82.8×8.5 mm, it is a lot smaller than models of competing companies. The weight of this device however, is pretty big at 240.9 grams and is due to the large battery. This smartphone is graced with a 6300mAh Li-Polymer battery which means this device can last for days even if you are a heavy user.
The manufacturer states that this phone offers over 72 hours of general usage and 770 hours of standby time. In addition, you can watch online videos for 25 hours straight and listen to music for over 49 hours. But the best part would be its rapid charge LGQC v3.0 technology. 3 hours will fully charge the phone plus a 5-minute charge can give a full days use.
Shark 1 runs on Leagoo OS v1.2 which is on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has a flat interface and comes with a lot of new functions which make the device a useful part of everyday life.
This device has two cameras, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, with dual LED flash, BSI sensor and Large F2.0 aperture. The Shark 1 is equipped with MediaTek's 64bit Octa-core processor and 1.3Ghz main frequency. It also has built in RAM 3GB and ROM 16GB internal storage.
Shark 1 comes with an infrared remote control function which means it can be used to remotely control TVs, set-top boxes, air-conditioners, etc. It also has dual SIM cards and supports Bluetooth port and 4G LTE network with good signal strength. One flaw that we should mention is the lack of NFC communication.
Other features include various sensors like gravity, ambient light, compass, motion and fingerprint. The device supports positioning systems such as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou.The sound strength and quality are another field where this smartphone shines. Shark 1 uses AWINiC K6 amplifier and offers pleasant and loud sound over the earphones and speaker.
