195 new devices added last week

Updates include Asus ZenFone2 and iOS subversion release

Last week 51Degrees added 195 devices into a database, including Asus ZenFone 2 smartphone. This new device was presented at MWC15 in Barcelona and is already in our database.

New device update

ZenFone 2 is equipped with a good processor that might encourage game players as well as all users who like browsing from their smartphones. This good looking phone has a lot of other interesting features such as scribbling a command to open a camera application by drawing a C on the screen or unlocking web browsing by drawing W. You can also shrink the size of your desktop using just your thumb. This feature was designed for one handed smartphone users. ZenFone 2 allows users to customise their interface style so they can adjust the themes, fonts, icons and more according to their own preferences. Interesting feature that ZenFone2 offers is ‘Trend Micro security’ that integrated with ZenUI gives the total mobile web browsing security. This and many more attractive features might increase ZenFone 2 popularity in the near future. Using 51Degrees product you can deliver better optimise browsing experience for this device from your website.

iOS Operating System update

In January we released information about supporting Android OS subversions. Based on customers’ feedback, currently we made changes in our database and now 51Degrees provides information about iOS operating system subversion. The new release is already available for Enterprise product and for Premium customers it will be accessible on Wednesday evening (15.04) with the next data update.
